First of all, Mbuyu Beach is perfect for simply relaxing. You can easily do nothing but spend a few days in the lush garden, at the pool or along the ocean. Besides, we have lots of ideas for walks, boat excursions and day trips.
Msambweni is a good starting (or ending) point for safaris to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks. Of course you cannot always expect a stroke of luck like Marianne from Germany: on a two-day-safari from Mbuyu Beach to Tsavo West she and her husband Stefan witnessed the rescue of a baby elephant. The little one had gotten stuck in a water hole and was then left behind by the herd. Helpers later flew the baby to the Sheldrick orphenage in Nairobi - and Marianne came back with this photo...

We charge € 70 (kids € 35) per person/ per night incl. half board (pls. see "rooms + rates").
COVID update: All our staff are vaccinated. With free standing bungalows and a maximum of a dozen guests, social distancing is no problem on our 2 acre property with 100 meters beachfront.
Minimum stay is 2 nights; for your safety we do not accept visitors from outside in the restaurant.
