Isabelle Graedel, an agronomist and a consultant by profession, has spent her early childhood in Kenya. For the last few years she has worked for humanitarian NGOs in Nairobi, Ukambani, Marsabit, Tana River (all Kenya), South Sudan, Mali, Niger and DR Congo.
Werner Zeppenfeld has worked as Africa correspondent for German TV (ARD) in Nairobi for almost a decade, reporting from more than 30 countries. He has seen few places that have appealed to him more than Mbuyu Beach.
Both of them want to share their Indian Ocean dream with nice guests and give them a good time.

Open for you from October until Easter. Closed every year from April to the end of September.
We charge € 70 (kids € 35) per person/ per night incl. half board (pls. see "rooms + rates").
We meet all requirements of the state Corona Protocol. With free standing bungalows and a maximum of a dozen guests, social distancing is no problem on our 2 acre property with 100 meters beachfront. On request the food can be served on the bungalow terrace.
During the pandemic, minimum stay is 5 nights; for your safety we accept neither short term guests nor visitors from outside in the restaurant.
